Located on Mayoral Drive in Auckland CBD, Aotea is a unique building compromised of many levels and sections such as the main theatre, foyer spaces, convention wings and a striking exterior of interlocking stainless steel cladding.
Auckland Zoo’s Te Puna Café was built to modernise food service to customers and provide a top-quality venue space. Overhanging the central lake and overlooking the High Canopy habitat, it provides a unique outlook where visitors can watch orangutans and siamangs swinging by.
Auckland Zoo’s new administration wing provides a significant focal point at the Zoo entry, setting the tone for what lies beyond. The building provides a multifunctional space and uses a high-performance building envelope that supports a low energy profile through natural light and passive ventilation.
A rebuild of The Tepid Baths, Auckland’s historic indoor public pools, which were built in 1914 on the previous site of a small drydock.
